FAQs

When do I use Pressure Pods?

Once your ear has been drained of excess fluid you can apply the Pressure Pods to the area right away. The sooner you start to wear them the more effective the treatment will be in minimising the appearance of cauliflower ear.

How do I use Pressure Pods?

Visit our instructions page for a step-by-step guide on how to use your Pressure Pods.

How long do I need to wear Pressure Pods?

We recommend wearing your Pressure Pods as often as possible, until the the swelling subsides and cartilage has hardened again. This process may take as little as 24 hours, or as much as a few days. Each injury will vary in nature.

Can I sleep while wearing Pressure Pods?

Yes! We recommend wearing the Pressure Pods while sleeping as this is when the body heals itself most. Make sure to use the silicon spacers provided if the magnet pressure feels too strong.

Can I train while wearing Pressure Pods?

We recommend taking a couple days off from training after the excess fluid is drained from the ear to prevent further trauma and unwanted swelling.

If you can't wait to get back on the mats, you can wear your Pressure Pods while training as long as you are able to protect the ear from further trauma (make sure to wear headgear so the pods don't get brushed off).

Is it normal to feel pain while using Pressure Pods?

It is normal to feel slight pressure on the affected area while wearing your Pressure Pods. If the pressure feels too strong and causing discomfort, we recommend using the pressure reduction spacers provided to reduce the magnetic strength.

If you are experiencing increased pain, swelling or worsening symptoms after using your Pressure Pods, remove them immediately and consult your healthcare professional.
